Over the past few years the Powell Spring 5k has become one of the premiere road races in Central Ohio. The outstanding course in a beautiful neighborhood, the professionalism of the race team, and the community feel of Adventure Park combine to make this a memorable event. Held annually the first Saturday after Memorial Day, the Powell Spring 5k has become a traditional summertime kickoff for many in the area.
The demographics of the racers and the community itself make this an ideal venue to advertise your services through sponsorship of the race. Powell is one of the fastest growing areas in the state of Ohio, and is the home of a large number of central Ohio decision-makers. Race participants and the parents of the youth volunteers have been great patrons for our past sponsors. Please see below for sponsorship options and benefits for this year’s race.
The 8th annual Powell Spring 5k will take place Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 8:30am. Coordinated by its all-volunteer race team, proceeds from the race go to pay for summer youth activities in the Powell and Worthington area. Youth who will benefit are required to assist in making the race a success by helping out on the sidelines.
In the past several years we have had over 300 runners in our race and expect to have 500 participants this year.
In order for sponsors to be included in all marketing materials, we must obtain a sponsorship commitment by February 20, 2009. Payment is due no later than March 6, 2009 and can be processed by credit card on-line at active.com.
